The simple things, the sunrise walks by the sea, followed by a swim, crisp natural light, water drops around, wet skin and a nude beautiful body. No posing needed, this mama is simply doing her thing and enjoying the beautiful ocean.

A stunning golden hour backdrop for this beautiful mom to be, where the wind drops and the water movement slows down giving us that beautiful surface texture and reflecting the light of the sky.
This two images in black and white were taken during winter time, is such a great time to get good visibility underwater. This specific mom to be told me that she didn't want to spend much time in the water because she wasn't feeling great on the day, so we did 10 minute swim and we got stunning images for her to keep forever. This colourful sunrise landscape was taken in the beautiful Fingal Headland, during winter time, it was a bit fresh but nothing horrible, starting the day like this you can imagine the rest of the session. Below there's some other images of that session.

The sky colours provided us with the best backdrop we could have asked for, and the ocean clarity was amazing.

Summer time, can you tell? I can even smell it by looking at this images. Tay was on her 38 week when we did this amazing session in Cudgen Beach, was done in the middle of the day, full harsh light and direct sun vertical on us. I wanted to play with shades and contrast for this session and she was open to create. I really love the result, we introduce colourful nature props like palm tree leaves on land and flowers in the ocean and below you'll see the result.

I wanted to have a film vibe to the palm tree images so
I muted some colours and added a bit of grain, I truly love this session.

Flowers, Springtime. Who doesn't love a flower field? This session was done during sunset in a wild flower filed by the sea. These flowers are called Mothers of Millions and they are often confused with the Australian native Christmas Bells, they will grow under the poorest conditions in areas such as a crack in a rock, gravel on the inside of a road or cliffs, sand dunes and pastures. They grow all along the coastline in the Gold Coast.

Another stunning sunrise using a ocean pond created by the dropping tide to capture the reflections of the sky and create the backdrop for this shot. After enjoying this sunrise show we had a swim in perfect conditions. This was at The Pass, Byron Bay.

Sand, earth, and skin tones. Golden light and textures are what I like the most when using light to capture portraits.

And here you'll see one of my favourite images from all time. A blooming mom looking at the ocean while a humpback whale and her calf cruise as the sun goes up. In this exact moment we were taking some photos of this mom to be, her partner told us to turn around as see the whales as they were so close to the headland, and that was the shot. The moment was captured with a few more images you can see in the full gallery here.

Wind, skin, sun, water. I love playing with textures as I mentioned before and letting my clients do their own thing.

Under the water or surface, I'm a close up lover.
I love the water glittering, shimmering, the lens pearl or bokeh, the bubbles under water, the skin textures and the smallest details that make photography magical.

This Image has a scary story behind that I will write on a separate post soon. Another all time favourite as this is the first time I got a rainbow lens flare underwater on top of her pregnant belly.
Simply magical.

Incorporating flowers and natural textures into photography adds an elegant and earthy dimension to the images. The vibrant colors of blooms provide a striking contrast that draws the eye, while the organic textures of leaves, petals, and branches create depth and richness. These natural elements infuse each photograph with a sense of life and vitality, enhancing the emotional connection and grounding the art in a timeless, organic beauty. This delicate interplay of color and texture elevates the composition, bringing a fresh, sophisticated feel to the imagery.
