1. We are instinctively connected with nature and water on a physical, cognitive, and emotional level.

If you didn't know.. we are actually created in water. We grow in amniotic fluid from the very first day. Therefore is innate to us to go back to were we came from and reconnect with the natural world.

2. Underwater maternity photos make you look amazing

as the body float and all those insecurities we have when we put on weight disappear underwater, your skin looks better, the water textures on the body create magical effect that looks really arty and earthy, all your body parts are suspended in the water, the fact there's no gravity helps to the little imperfections to disappear underwater and this will make you love the final result even more.

3. Double flotation therapy session for mom & bub

Being in the water promotes

a double floating sensation

for the baby,

who's already floating inside mom's belly.

This creates heightened sensitivity and connection with the baby,

you may have heard the term “mirroring” used in this regard.

4. Creating conscious connections with your baby

It signals that we are connected to that person in some way.

our baby posture and trying to do the same and feel the same way they do inside our belly, is a non-verbal way to show empathy.

10. Breathing techniques

I will coach you through some free-diving and breathing tips for you to be able to relax holding your breath and staying underwater without fear or anxiety, after the first 10 min you will feel really comfortable and enjoy the calmness below the surface. Controlling your breath is something very important that will help you also throughout the birth, learning to breath using your body wisely can reduce the pain between contractions and enhances awareness on your respiratory organs.

An interesting fact is that holding your breath while pushing during birth will also provide more oxygen to the baby and your uterus.
