1.What’s Included in the Package? or What's NOT included in the price?

Okay, let’s get down to brass tacks. Before you get too excited make sure you’re clear on what exactly you’re getting for your hard-earned cash. Are tables, chairs, linens, and dinnerware included? What about setup and cleanup? Understanding the nitty-gritty details will help you avoid any surprises down the line. Last thing you need after a perfect day is all the little problems to pop up.

2.What’s the Backup Plan for Bad Weather?

Ah, the great outdoors – perfect for a romantic ceremony... until it starts pouring rain. Ask your venue coordinator about their contingency plan for inclement weather. Do they have indoor options available, or will you need to rent a tent? Knowing your options ahead of time will give you peace of mind and ensure your day goes off without a hitch, rain or shine. Do they provide umbrellas? I've been in some weddings where couples had to find umbrellas the day before the wedding and that is not fun... specially when you need 50 + umbrellas.

3.Any Restrictions or Rules We Should Know About?

Every venue has its own set of rules and regulations, from noise ordinances to decor restrictions. Before you start brainstorming elaborate centerpieces or planning an epic dance-off, make sure you’re aware of any limitations set by the venue. Can you bring in outside vendors, or are you required to use their preferred partners? Are there any time constraints you need to be mindful of?

What's the curfew time? make sure you’re clear on any curfew times or noise restrictions imposed by the venue or local ordinances. You don’t want your celebration cut short just as things are heating up, so be sure to factor this into your planning timeline.Clearing these hurdles early on will save you a lot of headaches later.

And also very important regarding restrictions, Is It Accessible to All? Your wedding day should be inclusive and welcoming to all your guests, regardless of mobility or accessibility needs. Before booking your venue, ensure it's accessible to everyone by asking about ramps, elevators, accessible restrooms, and designated parking spaces. Making sure your venue can accommodate all your loved ones ensures that everyone can fully enjoy and participate in your special day.

4. How Many Guests Can the Venue Accommodate Comfortably? It’s easy to get swept up in the romance of a venue without considering the practicalities, like whether it can actually fit all your guests. Be sure to ask about the venue’s maximum capacity and how comfortably it can accommodate your guest list. You don’t want your nearest and dearest feeling like sardines packed into a can.

Does It Have On-Site Accommodation and Preparation Rooms? Convenience is key when it comes to your big day. Inquire about whether the venue offers on-site accommodation for you, your wedding party, or out-of-town guests.

Additionally, ask about preparation rooms where you can get ready before the ceremony. Having everything in one place can streamline your day and make the logistics a whole lot smoother. Plus, it’s a game-changer for those last-minute touch-ups and outfit changes.

5.What’s the Payment Schedule and Cancellation Policy? Last but certainly not least, let’s talk money. Get crystal clear on the venue’s payment schedule – when are deposits due, and what’s the final payment deadline?

Additionally, it’s crucial to understand the venue’s cancellation policy in case the unthinkable happens and you need to change your plans. Nobody wants to think about worst-case scenarios, but it’s always better to be prepared.
